Fall 2015 Grades Due

Just a friendly reminder that final grades for Session 1 (16-week), 12-week, and Fastrack 2 classes are due before Thursday, December 17 at 9:00 a.m. It is vital that all grades be submitted on time as missing grades delay important end-of-terms processes and functions. It is especially important this semester due to the holiday break. Please ensure that your grades will be submitted before this time.

Please ensure that your access to Passport works properly in advance of the deadline. If you have issues accessing Passport, please call the Help Desk at 863-297-1000 ext. 5111. This will ensure that you are able to submit grades by the deadline.

Remember also that you must submit an Incomplete Coursework Plan to your academic dean’s office for every Incomplete (“I”) grade that you assign to a student. The form should be signed by both the faculty member and the student. If you have any questions about this requirement, please check with your dean’s office.

Fastrack 2 Attendance Confirmation

Attendance Confirmation for Fastrack 2 classes opens on Tuesday, 10/27. It must be completed by Thursday, 10/29. Attendance Confirmation opens the day after the drop period ends and runs for three calendar days.

Once you report a student as having never attended, they are removed from your roster. You may reinstate a student by e-mailing Karen Walfall (kwalfall@polk.edu) in Lakeland or Joshua Plazak (jplazak@polk.edu) in Winter Haven with the student ID number and course reference number until 10/29. After that date you will need to obtain a reinstatement form from your academic dean’s office.

This must be completed for ALL classes you are teaching even if all of your students have attended. To complete Attendance Confirmation simply log on to PASSPORT, click the “Class Roster” quick link, select the Fall 2015 term, and click the “Open” button in the Attendance Confirmation column.

If you are teaching an MS session class, please check your roster for the grade due date.
